In photoshop Cs and CS2 you can reset the aspect ratio and resave.

have you check the deck to know the 422 is working? ( try slaving it to the beta deck)

and I would give tech support a call, it usually only takes a couple of hours at most for them to get back to you.
there are only so many tech guys at AJA.

This is a down-convert. DV50 is SD only.
there is no DVCPROHD50

in HD the frame rate is 25 frame Not 50 fields

if you are trying to work in SD you need to set the downconverter in the K2 control panel to get an SD signal

everything in your note is HD not SD- but the compression you are referring to is SD only

what Kona driver version ( kona control panel > info tab)
Which OS version? ( apple menu > about this mac)

the crash log is only helpful with a couple of answers –
note there is not a reference to anything but apple.

Yes, It will work fine.

I use my Huge array for this type of work daily. (I have a 4110).

the other comments were about FCP’s Realtime effects (RT extreme) which are very limited when working with Uncompressed HD content. IT had nothing to do with what the drive was capable of.
