I’m on a MAC using FCP7. When I tried that the footage seemed choppy. I’m doing some tests converting in Compressor. I’ll see what happens and post my results.
1920 in a 1440 sequence shouldn’t make them narrow, given they are both 1080. I take it your 1920 is transcoded DSLR footage? What were your settings when transcoding?
Bo… when shooting outside a variable ND filter is the way to go. Then you can set your f-stop where you want it, set your ISO low… like 100, then dial in the Variable ND Filter https://www.singh-ray.com/varind.html
Phil is right… Don’t get me wrong 2.8 is great for sure, I have a Canon 24-70mm f2.8 and love it, but in low light… it’s not as good as a f1.4 or f1.8 prime
