  • Dave, that sounds like something you’d hear at a news station.

I’d say don’t ignore it. If you can hook up a laptop to a projector and tweak it live onto the wall or a similar wall, it shouldn’t take too long to get it right. Can’t tell you off the top of my head which effect would be best, but it should definitely be fixable/manageable.

    Thanks for the feedback.

Tried running DiskWarrior, but I’m getting problems with that too.

    –Disk Warrior–
    Disk Warrior, Directory:
“Directory canot be rebuilt because this is the startup disk.”

    Disk Warrior, Files:
    Repaid Disk Permissions, Check
Check all Files and Folders, Check
“An unexpected error occurred while attempting to perform the file operations. Restart from the DiskWarrior disc and try again. If you report this error, please mention the error code (2903, -8902).

    Disk Warrior, Hardware:
    “… functioning normally.”

If I try to restart from the DiskWarrior disk, the comp freezes…

    Any other ideas?

Have you checked the continuously rasterize button in AE?

As an update, we used Panasonic DVCPRO tape outdoors in 118F without any problems.

There is a PFL button, but as far as I can tell, that doesn’t solo your phones from your monitors. Am I wrong?

Dave, yeah, it’s a bad pixel. Eventually it’ll get to the shop, but that wont fix what was already shot.

Chris, it’s in the same spots every time. Most are red, some are blue.

I’m imagining some sort of preset that I can drag and drop over the bad pixel/bad area that will adapt to the the footage underneath it.

    It looks like this:

I’m trying to make a preset that will allow me to click and drag around the pixel and have the selected part be replaced with color information gathered from around the area selected.

    Any ideas?
