    What’s your pixel aspect ratio?

Thanks Dave. I’ve been having some minor issues with Credit Rolls.

    This was my current solution…

time*[0, -120] or something like that.

You have to adjust the anchor point to get it to start in the right place, but it was working…

Can you post a screen shot of the whole AE window with the problem (timeline, viewer, etc.)?

What’s your pixel aspect ratio? If it’s not square your edges, especially round ones, can look kind of funky. Switch it to square in your comp’ settings and see what happens. Or zoom in on a rounded part of some text and toggle your aspect ratio switch.

Those are great speakers, but I still don’t really understand the question.

You can have the best speakers, but if you’re listening to them in a tile box, it wont matter.

Maybe a better question would be, how do I most accurately monitor my sound?

You could be wasting your money/the guards money by paying for a Porsche when all you need to do is pick up the groceries.

The hottest desktop speakers – for what? iTunes or mastering a 7.1 mix?

You can’t tell me it doesn’t work when you don’t do it right.

Straight versus Premultiplied. No need to export multiple layers, just one.

Take a gander at Dave’s links. These are the basics you need to know about when it comes to alpha channels.

Save the whales, and layers too.

    Good luck!

This is a very late response, but for whoever else is having this problem, here’s the work around I got from, Adolfo.

“A workaround for now: Set the artboard area to match the whole art – of course, this will give you in AE a comp with all the content. But once in AE use Region of Intererest to set the true content area and then go to Composition > Crop to Region of Interest.”

Export with alpha channels (channels: rgb+alpha, something like animation)… straight or premultiplied… most likely straight.

You’re right, it is a good mixer and I don’t have any real complaints about it.

But no solo switch for headphones?… Seems like a feature that would be/should be on every model.
