April 29, 2015 at 9:20 am in reply to: general workflow question plural eyes and premiere CCHi everybody,
I just worked a workflow out for me and tested it out.
I edited the the roughcut with camera audio. So I could very fast see if the things that I´ve thought out are really working in the edit.
After finishing that I just throwed every audio that I ingested from the raw audio folders into the timeline. I didn´t care if the audio clips are in the edit or not.
Then I exported the sequence from premiere CC into Plura Eyes – what works fine via the plugin and the extension in premiere.
Once I have the sequence in plural eyes with every audio that was taken on set – I synced it – and bam – it synced – of corse with all the unwandted audio – but hey everything needs a trade off – I pushed the stuff back to premiere and just hat to ripple delete the gaps – and I´m done.With a careful made script from the script girl – which take was the best one – and the note of the corresponding audio files – this workflow could be improved – so I would not have to import every audio file that was recorded on set…
Helped me so far – and hopefully someone else 🙂

Felix

August 3, 2014 at 4:59 pm in reply to: Need a cheap but acceptable monitoring solution – plasma or dreamcolor?Does anyone has some experience with the new Dreamcolor that was shown at Last NAB2014?
Its interesting that nearly none of the tutorialmakers recomends a Model. There is always the same theoretical Topics about technologies and the pros and cons of plasma, LCD and that stuff – but Nobody says: this is my equipmwnt, I grade it with this probe and this solution works great for X and not so for Y. Maybe I didn’t search enough, but that is so essential for this job that I’d rather hear a prooven solution for this issue than to learn how to mimik the lastest blockbasterlook. -
Nice – thanks a lot

Hy Dimity,
Thanks for the tip. It works with BCC Flicker Fixer – new in suite8 – it has some adjustments that allows to finetune to the result I needed. So anyway, I would give definitely a try to bcc.
thanks,

I can´t remember what I did, but finally i fixed this issue… but don´t ask me how, so Craig the solution you found would be perfect to know.
Thanks – maybe there is a fix in 9.1.5?

I figured out a “non” plexus way for my task – just by adding a wiggle expression when the net is nearly finished.
The task was to delay the wiggle for some time – till I want the images to start shaking smoothly.
This script helped – and is very convinient, cause it has a ramp to the start on the wiggle:
found this from Dan on creative cow – you guys are my life saver 🙂
… but anyway – if anybody has a better idea how I can acchive the net effect with plexus – like the mill did, any suggestions are very welcome 🙂fStart = 100;
fStop = 200;
fRamp = 5;amp = 5;
freq = 5;tStart = framesToTime(fStart);
tStop = framesToTime(fStop);
tRamp = framesToTime(fRamp);
if (time < (tStart + tStop)/2)
a = linear(time,tStart,tStart+tRamp,0,amp)
else
a = linear(time,tStop-tRamp,tStop,amp,0);
wiggle(freq,a) -

December 16, 2012 at 1:46 pm in reply to: best practice for rendersetting back to premiere CS6Hi Timo,
Thanks for your tip. Will try it, sounds great – 10 Bit is sure the way to go – and with a good response speed in CS6 it will be awsome to work.
Will tell you how it figures out in my enviroment.
