Not a problem. The camera mic voltage is designed to power non powered mics that work on 5 volts DC or less. Set your levels properly and you’ll be fine.

Your missing time code drift between the recorder and the camera depending on the accuracy of the internal clocks. You can use a dumb slate with no TC and use the clap and sticks closing to align the audio & picture. Works very well. Feature films still use the dumb slate today.

Seems like a win/win situation. A 702 w/o tc could be a tough sell, a used 302 is going for about $850-$950 on the used market. In any event get the 633, you won’t regret the weight reduction and the added features of the 633 should make your job easier.

The 3.5mm TRS locking connectors are universal and will fit all female 3.5mm jacks. What you have to be aware of is the wiring for each system. A lav wired for the Sony will not work in the Sennheiser and the opposite is true.

Easy way to keep things as they are is to get a 40db barrel pad and connect that to the 302 xlr output line level connector. The pad will drop the output from line to mic level.
Set the transmitter to about -20 and the receiver to the same -20 out put level going into the camera’s input XLR set at mic level. Send a “0” tone from the 302 and adjust the camera’s record level to -20, you might need to turn up the rx output level a bit. Keep in mind that the Sennheiser G series are unbalanced connections in and out so you’ll need unbalanced wired cables.
Markertek sells a 3 position(20, 30 & 40db) barrel pad for about $15, part number ATT-448. Get two of them, they are a very handy tool.

Basically your chances are less than 50/50 of it working effectively. You would be better served by buying a new wireless system. Look at the Sennheiser G3 wireless systems.

Not a bad choice but be aware that the Oktava is known for handling noise issues when used on a boom pole. A very pliant shock mount is required to keep the noise at a minimum.
