WOW, Simon your a genius. I didnt even think of making a new connection. It worked and everything is back to normal! Thanks so much I really appreciate your help!

Any idea whatsoever as too why it stopped working in the first place? I didnt installng or do anything new.

axel, thanks for the help but its not exactly what im looking for. i want the transition to occur as 4 moves ins to create the full screen. the page effect only effects the whole video screen and i need control of the video screen divided into 4 pieces.

i wish i could show you, its hard to explain.

any help anyone else??????????

almost forgot…

I will also be editing my project with footage from a Sony VX2000 using 30 fps. Can I use footage from both of these cameras in the same sequence? I dont want any headaches! I just want the film look and be able to make a DVD in DVD Studio Pro.

Will I run into any problems with this workflow??

No I used just took a movie clip I had slowed it down, colored it, and dropped the opacity to 50%. It makes for a real nice transparent water look!

I tried your suggestion and had no luck!

I bought the one for after effects first but a friend has the non-linear editors one and think the Non linear one was better. Way more detailed info and lots of tips and freebies.

Do you think setting average bit rate to 3.5 instead of 5.5 will bring me down a half a gig? From 1.5 to 1.0?

or should I just go down to One Pass instead of the One Pass VBR?
