Man I wish I was smarter to think this whole Beta nightmare through before I started using it (but I was anxious to have adobe apps stop crashing on my Mactel) . Well I guess its my fault but this is still ridiculous.

Is there anything else I can do or just wait until July?

Thanks for your suggestions. I rechecked the sequence settings and found that 8-Bit uncompressed works great on this Beta footage.

***Since I mixing MiniDV and 8-Bit Beta footage in the same sequence timeline is there a setting that will allow me to not have to render?

Could you still post the Fuse TV spot? I love that channels graphics.

Does anybody have any links to studios that create Fuse TV graphics?

    Yeah Aharon rules! Great tutorials.

Also I totally agree with the above post. I would love to see more tutorials on using a camera connected to nulls and sliders!

    Thanks again!

For anyone else wondering how to do it this is answers from other forums:

-Try using the Appearance pallet. Use the pallet’s flyout menu to add a new fill. Then add a new stroke and drag that selection under the fill in the pallet. Then add a new stroke and make it thicker and drag that under the other stroke.

-I’ve always used OBJECT/PATH/OFFSET PATH. First, create outline of the logo text. Then select how far out the path duplicates from the previous one. Fill and stroke each time. It layers the original text like a pancake. Hope this helps.
