A lIttle help? Connections Woes
Hi All, out of nowhere my Safari, Software Update, and iTunes Music Store all decide they can no longer connect to the internet. However, iChat and Firefox connect just fine allowing me to chat and surf the web as normal.
I have already restarted, firewall is off, and I am connected at work over our LAN via ethernet.
Any reason why some apps can connect to the web and some cant? Thanks!

Try repairing permissions…
Also verify your keychain…
If you have wired and wireless connections see if both fail or if one works and the other doesn’t…
You can also try reseting safari, and deleting its prefs…
And have you tried making a new location and reseting your network?

WOW, Simon your a genius. I didnt even think of making a new connection. It worked and everything is back to normal! Thanks so much I really appreciate your help!
Any idea whatsoever as too why it stopped working in the first place? I didnt installng or do anything new.
