July 6, 2014 at 7:33 pm in reply to: Is it possible to view the all pictures as monochrome while setting the contrast levels? What Paul said, but if you want an in Resolve solution, you could set a Track correction using the Monochrome setting in the Color Mixer.

Do you get the same result if you capture using the BMD capture utility?

If the desire is to do the flip/flop on the Edit page, could you not invert the appropriate axis’ scale in the Edit page? I haven’t done that, but it seems like a feasible option… though it may not be.

Peter, have any of the panel mappings changed in 11? Specifically the JL Cooper?

Have you tried to import the stems via the media pool? Reading the article, is doesn’t say that they sent the Stems from FCP to Resolve, only that they had previously used FCP to sync final audio and picture post grade in the past.
You are able to perform the same sync process in the Resolve timeline.

June 13, 2014 at 4:52 pm in reply to: Avid MC 6.5 to Resolve 10 Roundtrip / Conform – HUGE PROBLEMS 🙁I’d start by removing all elements that are not visible in the Record monitor when the upper most track is set to be visible.
Anything left over should be brought down as close to V1 as possible.
This Doc is geared towards an FCP prep for Resolve, but the general idea of the “Cleaning the Timeline” section applies to all NLE’s

April 16, 2014 at 6:53 pm in reply to: Replace Source Clip for Flattened Grade WorkflowI usually take the clips into the Media pool and if the TC matches the Show TC from the flattened media I address the Conform Conflicts…. Obviously not what you wanted to do, but there’s no need to force conform… and, again, if the TC matches, Resolve does everything but commit the change for you. So you can get through it pretty easily.
That is pretty much How I deal with Edit changes on shows I work on with Preconform workflows.

Is it HDRx?
In HDRx both streams being recorded are temporally offset by the teeniest tiniest bit… I think there is a way to adjust how the HDRx is displayed in the Camera Raw settings… Try those.

Do a search for cuda mac driver and google will direct… Download the driver from nVidia and install over current version. Restart wouldn’t hurt, but is not required.
