tho’ i’m partial to the bookends and earrings… i think i’m gonna go the FW/USB 2.0 route and back-up some stuff!

thank you all for the ideas… the cow is an irreplaceable asset thanks to all of you.

    thank you to all…

i sucked it up (or drained my savings) and went with the KONA 2 & PVM 14. it sounds like the durability of the PVM and it’s multi-format capabilities will match my various needs for years to come.

again thank you @ glory to the cow!

    jeremy-

so instead of getting the monitor card/board, i could just put the $ toward the kona 2 card (i’m running a dual 2.5) and hopefully save some money. but would this effect my critical color correction?

thank you for the info herb-

i’m very curious, have you had good luck with the panasonic 1700? as well as the apple 23″?

i did some pretty intense searches through prior threads and kept finding that LCDs were some what iffy for color correction. has that been the case?

thank you again for the helpo,

the LH seems like a good way to go. and i think the PVM seems inevitable.

    jeremy-

    hey again, thank you…

yeah, i think i’ll see if i can slave it to the 1800. doesn’t that require the component card? we only have the FW and composite video out.
