NewBlue audio tools are VSTs. By default, they install in c:\program files\VSTPlugins
If Vegas is not seeing them, go to Options – Preferences to the VST tab and point Vegas to that folder.
Once they are found, they will appear in Vegas beside all the other audio effects.

Bob, NewBlue is aware of some issues in Vegas and working to overcome those issues. The next update is being worked on right now and all troublesome clips that have been uploaded are being used for testing. The primary problem is the lack of a frame access API so scripting is needed to get the individual frames.
Most of the troublesome clips seem to use Quicktime. I know that there are some troublesome clips that actually work fine when NewBlue tests them so it’s sometimes hard to duplicate your results.

Dave, make sure you download the most current version from here:
https://www.newbluefx.com/downloads.htmlDuring installation, make sure you pick “Sony Vegas 64-bit”. Once installed, they will be available on the VideoFX or Transitions tab depending on which package you install.

Use the Pro version of Vegas instead of the Movie Studio version.

Why not just use a standard fade-out? Put the mouse in the upper-right corner of the event and it will turn into a quarter circle. Then click and drag toward the center of the event. The farther you drag, the longer the fade.

I use 4825 for 2 hour SD DVD single sided. At 3800 you could put over 2.5 hours.

John is correct. Since Movie Studio is only 32-bit, the MSPP package is also only 32-bit. So the MSPP package will not work in the 64-bit version of Vegas.

Go to Options – Customize Keyboard. Sounds like you’re wanting to set up keys for the Cursor.LoopEnd and Cursor.LoopHome settings. Remember the Trimmer and Timeline settings are in two different places so you need to set them twice. Use whatever key you’re want for those settings.

Mike, first of all, the effects are set to “do nothing” by default. So you are starting with a “dry” track even though those effects are there.
To remove them by default, remove the effects and then right-click a blank spot on the track header. The pop up menu will include an option to set the default track properties.
