  • How to render to mp4 in HD

Posted by Gabe Kim on May 2, 2010 at 1:29 am

The MainConcept mp4 only has these one template option which is:
Audio: 128 Kbps, 48,000 Hz, AAC.
    Video: 512 Kbps, 29.970 fps, 320×240

My question is, how do I render in the file format of mp4 in at least 1280×720?

The only option I can see for this is Windows Media Video V11 (*.wmv)

Help for a newbie is greatly appreciated!

I use Main Concept AVC/AAC MP4 and I dont have a 1280×720 option too, but I just use Custom Settings and enter 1280×720.

I have Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 9.

When I select Save as Type of: MainConcept AVC/AAC(*.mp4) the Custom button gets dithered out.

How do I go into Custom?

thats weird. the CUSTOM button should be clickable.

Use the Pro version of Vegas instead of the Movie Studio version.

I use the “Sony AVC” option. It allows you to render MP4.
