Certainly. You put the video on once and then add all the alternate audio tracks. Then your “Language” DVD menu will simply pick which of the alternate audio tracks to play. This is one of the basic functions of DVDA.

So, render your video once. Render your audio 8 times. Place the video on the menu and add the “default” audio track as the audio for that video. Now add the additional audio tracks and place the extra languages in those tracks. The menu options you make will simply tell it which one of those audio tracks to use.

If you put a DV-AVI file on the timeline and then PTT, it will NOT have to do any more “prerendering”.

15 hours for a 1 hour video IS possible. Typically, mine take much less than that. Without knowing anything about the project (and possibly seeing the VEG file) there’s really no way to tell if 15 hours is “appropriate” for your project.

I can’t say it “isn’t possible” because I simply don’t know everything that’s available. I also don’t know anything about that product you mentioned. However, one can start playing the DVD without ejecting it and putting it back in by simply starting the DVD player software.

When the disc is placed in the drive, it’s up to the user what will happen. When the box pops up, they can choose to play the DVD or browse the DVD or do nothing…

I don’t think you can create HTML that will fire off the DVD. You can certainly have the content of both, though.

Also, in Vegas Capture, make sure you turn off Device Control.

Turn OFF the “Split Screen View” button just above the preview window (or change it to a different mode besides “Bypass”).
