DVDA 3.0, 1 Video/8 Audio tracks
Hi there.
We are about to produce a DVD with one Video in 8 different translations. For convenience reasons our client does not want us to put the audio in different language tracks to select your language on the remote control. (he obviously regards his his clients as stupid 😉 )
So we have one menu with a selction of the 8 languages. The question is: is there a possibility in DVDA to put the video only one time on the DVD to save disk space or do we have to put video and audio under each link?Thanks in advance

Certainly. You put the video on once and then add all the alternate audio tracks. Then your “Language” DVD menu will simply pick which of the alternate audio tracks to play. This is one of the basic functions of DVDA.
So, render your video once. Render your audio 8 times. Place the video on the menu and add the “default” audio track as the audio for that video. Now add the additional audio tracks and place the extra languages in those tracks. The menu options you make will simply tell it which one of those audio tracks to use.
