I have seen a different version of a slideshow that I really like. It is usually for a wedding where we watch the bride and groom grow up. But instead of the usual picture after picture, the camera moves over all the pictures from left to right, as if panning the camera over pictures laying on a table. Can this be done with Vegas, and if so, how?

It can easily be done in Vegas using keyframes in the Pan/Crop tool.

Also, Excalibur has a tool that will do this to your whole slideshow with one click.

    Gary,

Thanks for the reply, but I’ve not been able to figure out how I can use pan/crop tool to do the effect I am looking for. I’m not sure I described the “slideshow” example that I’ve seen, very well. Try this link to a fellow wedding videographer’s demo and you will see what I am trying to do. https://www.jimfarrell.com/PV%20Demo%20002.wmv

It starts at about 20 seconds into the video. Let me know your thoughts.

    Thanks, Doug
