For me, stability has improved in every recent version. Version 23 for me is more stable than version 22. Yes, some people will have problems with any version. However, the only way to know if it’s more stable for the work YOU do is to install it and test it. For me, version 23 has been very stable and it’s the only version I use for production work at this time.

As VST3 support is new(er), I’d be on the newest version for the best support. So move to VEGAS Pro 21 and make sure you download the updates when the updates are available.

When creating new titles in VEGAS if you’re copying an older one, make sure you “Make a new copy” and it’s not linked to the previous title.
Beyond that, It would help to see how the title is configured but, yes, Titler Pro does have an option to fit the text to the box.

Sounds like you are “Nesting” the project instead of “Opening” the project. Right-click and drag and make sure you choose “Open Project”.

That would be a Windows setting. You need to tell Windows what app should open MP4 files. It has nothing to do with VEGAS.

1. What are your project settings?
2. What are the properties of the source video?
3. Exactly which renderer are you using?
4. Do you see this on the preview screen when editing?
