Suddenly a different rendered outcome
On my V13 windows app,It suddenly began rendering out to an MP4 file with the Vegas icon when I render to my usual XDCAM EX mp4 settings. The problem is that when it is done and I click the Open box, it opens an entirely new copy of Vegas, not the file itself. Even when I open the file (still w/ the Vegas logo) from a Windows folder, it opens the Vegas app with the file in the Media bin.
I dont know how this started, but it just did today, despite closing and reopening the app. And I dont know if the file will open on someone else’s machine now.
Not sure if/how this is related, but this veg project keeps brining up a dialog box telling me I’m missing a file, and even tho I’ve found and added it to the bin, it keeps stoping the app to remind me it’s not there. It isn’t the dialog box with the radio buttons. It has only a “details” button, which tells you what files are missing and has no choice to delete anything.
Any help is appreciated!

That would be a Windows setting. You need to tell Windows what app should open MP4 files. It has nothing to do with VEGAS.
