January 1, 2023 at 6:26 pmI have been using Sony Vegas Pro 20. All of a sudden, I go to open it and it says Error code 59. So, I think I delete it and re download it and now I get these messages when I try to open it?? Yes, I verified it is paid for and I see the license in Magix??
Here are 2 images when I try to open it now. I click it and it says registered etc and I exit but then can’t reopen it??
Please help.
Thank yoy

January 2, 2023 at 12:26 amHave you made any hardware changes? Or used your key in another PC?
I believe MAGIX permits 2 devices per key and it might recognize a single hardware component change as a new PC. In MAGIX website where you see your copy of Vegas Pro – if you click on show more details under your serial number – are there multiple devices listed? If yes, simply deactivate the old one.
Alternatively you might want to try reinstalling again. Perhaps something went wrong during installation.

January 4, 2023 at 8:17 pmI’ve had the same issues and done all the obvious fixes, deleting my license on magix support site etc, still EVERY time I start up the program it wants me to register.
Also if you are on the 365 plan you only get to use it on ONE computer.
19 was great, I literally had no problems
Now with 20 I’m back to crashing constantly, I’ve done the usual fixes and it’s not helping…. anyone else having crashing issues again with 20, I thought we were done with that stuff

Unfortunately when people say this, it is assumed they are using a pirated copy as Sony ended with version 13…

March 2, 2023 at 12:19 am@Edward T. That may be true for some but I’ve been a user since version 3, back when Sonic Foundry was involved and just before Sony took charge of the software. I still have the reflex of calling my current version Sony Vegas. Old habits die hard…..
