I wonder if those cookies will be made by a professional, using only high-end professional ingredients. What kind of a**hole would use hydrogenated oil when there are many sources of high-grade butter, and it’s advertised everywhere! I’m sick of people whining about the quality of their cookies when if they spent a little more they could have professional high-quality cookies made with real vanilla extract, stone-ground whole grain flour, and the finest cane sugar. Sure there are plenty of wannabe cookies out there, made with bleached flour and artificial ingredients, but if you want to eat with the big boys, spend some money.

Thanks guys, it’s HDV 720P 30. I forgot to mention I also have nattress’ filters. I haven’t had a lot of luck with any of the sharpen filters, but I’ll definitely try the duplicate/50% transparency approach.

Let’s see, I have Compressor 2, Squeeze, BitVice, Compression Master (Now Episode), Cleaner, and maybe more (not at my PB right now) on mine. More importantly, what are you wanting to do? Different compressor excel at different things.

Are there a number of vob files, or just one. A typical DVD for example, will have a few vobs, not all of them contain the film/video. Other than the possibility that you’re not playing the right vob (if you even have more than one), I don’t know.
There are other programs for extracting vobs (MPEG Streamclip, FFMpeg-not 100% sure about FFMpeg’s abilities).

To play .vob files you need to purchase the MPEG-2 plug-in from Apple ($20 USD).
Here’s the U.S. store link for it, but you probably have a different site
in Oz. You need QT or QT Pro to use the plug-in (just to read files), but you need QT Pro to
export to other formats.

QT Pro works fine. There are programs (like Episode, Squeeze, and Compressor for Macs, and Procoder for PCs) that give you much more control, but for simple exporting out as H.264 (and other formats) QT Pro is fine (and cheap!).

They’re cards that plug into the PCI slots and they come with connector cables to plug decks, cameras, and monitors into.
