You *could* use a tool like Ultimate S, which ducks music whenever voice is present. 🙂
Double click the event, this can define in/out points. Using either a script to insert envelope points, or simply setting those envelope points by hand, you can quickly create four-point envelope adjustments that will allow you to duck music at each voice point.
Hit the “V” key to insert a Volume envelope, and adjust the rubber band points just like you did in Liquid.Douglas Spotted Eagle

DVDA supports dual layer, and supports easy output of DDP files for mastering/replicating DL discs.

If you have either version of DVD Architect installed, you have lots of arrows that are already png files as well. Transparency is there, so just use Pan/crop to size and rotate.

Sounds like the avi file your switcher is outputting isn’t DV. Maybe it’s MJPEG? AVI is just a file container, not an actual format, and it may contain several codecs in that wrapper/container.

Nothing will make the contiguous files one long file, no matter what.
the download manager merely lets you be sure you’re not renaming files. I don’t have the link handy, but googling Sony, CF, Z7 found me several results.
either way, no matter what, you’re going to have individual files. Download manager merely assures they’re in order, and that you don’t have duplicate names in the same folder.Douglas Spotted Eagle

Download their file importer. It’ll stitch them together if you want.
Tape will generate a new file each time you start/stop as well, unless you’ve got scene detection disabled. The only issue with the CF cards is they had to make the camera compatible with FCP, so the rest of the world is sadddled with their problems of FAT32.Douglas Spotted Eagle

Vegas can be purchased in turnkey systems with AJA cards or Black Magic cards from companies like BOXX.
It also runs great on whatever PC you might have.

Capture while editing while rendering, anyone? 🙂That said, if you’re an FCP user that struggled with Premiere, you *may* find the Vegas interface very different. Vegas is in no way designed to emulate a linear workflow, and is in no way a copy of any other app. It is it’s own personality. Other tools have recently begun stealing from the Vegas workflow, so it’s obvious folks are noticing the tool.

The topic is analog to digital conversion and transfer to a hard drive. The sub-topic is codecs.
Your question relates to media already digital (at camera) already on a drive (at camera) and already wrapped in a codec read-able by Vegas (.mxf).Transferring from an already digitized format already wrapped in a codec already on a digital storage device isn’t related to this topic.
