I used Tinderbox bad TV in this spot but you could lay your material out to tape and then do a capture now while manually rewinding the tape.

Try hitting the left or up arrow a few times to see if it’s hiding.
Also try pasting the text into a text editor (to strip gremlins), re-copying it and then paste in to FCP.

There doesn’t seem to be a way in 5 either. I guess the reason is mainly because of list view. I would think you could change to small icon view and the display more details.

I think AE and Combustion are fairly equal and most like which ever they started with. I know there are new combustion 4 DVD’s out there I just can recommend if they are good or bad.
I highly recommend AE and FCP DVD’s at https://totaltraining.com

February 23, 2006 at 1:48 pm in reply to: Field dominance question urgent!!!

This depends on the original field order (different from field dominance) It sounds like the fields were reversed on encode so do the opposite of what you did.

You can determine what order your system is (now a days sytems are lower but there are some old systems out there that are upper) by looking at every 5th frame of a field rendeed clip. If the clip is upper and you are on a lower field sys then the fith frame will look e some action is going backwards in one of the fields.

Just make sure all field orders are the same all the way through the project. This is determined by your capture system.

    Craig,
This is right on the money and I whole heartedly agree with everything but what about our responsibility (for lack of a better term) “or above and beyond duty” to educate our clients no matter the media or medium?
This is probably way OT but interesting conversation to me non the less.
