Hi, I’m looking for one or a maybe a couple of good training DVD’s/Books. Must have some good pro exercises that relate to making quality creative corporate / marketing /advertising productions. With reference to working with mixed media, eg; DV, Digi beta and HD footage and photo stills, design stills and using illustrator files as matts and good text creation and animation. Also some explaination of tech details regarding codecs and formats too.

I am in UK (pal land) if this has any bias to training formats too.

Also if anyone knows any good training materials for Combustion specialising in motion graphics compositing would be good too.
Do most people here use AE instead of combustion? I have been learning C4 and really like it- any thoughts on AE vs C4. Not sure if I should be learning AE also.

    Thanks in advance.

I think AE and Combustion are fairly equal and most like which ever they started with. I know there are new combustion 4 DVD’s out there I just can recommend if they are good or bad.
I highly recommend AE and FCP DVD’s at https://totaltraining.com
