Sir John I am finalizing a 1 Hour music documentary – was thinking to master to a blue-ray for the gentleman to have a high quality master as well as a regular dvd. Project is 1920×1080 30P
1 – is blue ray a good storage master?
2 what blue ray settings are best for a master?

  • Frank this is what I received from NB support – give these a try:

“First of all, are you on the most current version of your video driver?

When did you download Titler Pro? If it was after 10/24, you have the most current bundle version we’ve released for Vegas.

What happens if you right-click a video track, choose “Insert Generated Media” and then choose NewBlue Titler from that list?”

  • Sir Frank, tell you a work around I have been able to use till they get the NB Titler and V11 crashing fixed.

I have found that if I open another event of Vegas 11 and have an empty project and build the title with NB Titler Pro in an empty project it does not crash, then I save it as a Veg file, then import that veg file, into my active project (Both running at same time) the title preforms without crashing my master project.

If I try to build the exact same title in my active project it crashes my project with in 2 or 3 adjustments.

this is a few more steps but works for now

I do have both , but the NEWBLUE effect makes a 4:30 min an 11:30 render? maybe it is how they render but the BCC renders much faster with the somewhat same effects _MUCH FASTER, I like the new blue effects until it comes time to render them.

I have BCC FX Contiuim for vegas – I am not familiar with it but, willing to learn, do you think those would render faster? I have a 1 hour documentary I am working on the render time will be a year at this rate. Got any other suggestions?
By the way I am very grateful for your help.
