I think what you are asking does not apply to my set up because my drives are not linked just 4 individual drives 5oo GB each 7200 rpm ans 32gb cache.

I dont even know what that is and how to check it? I am also new to Mac as well as FCP.

Focus E says you need a program that reads open GOP M2t files – I have adobe PrePro Final Cut Studio3 Sony Vegas 9 and none of them reassemble the M2t files with out the frame and audio drop. I didnt know if there is a software that will reassemble Open GOP files that I can then import into vegas . I had preferred Vegas because I have been using it since V4, but M2t files and Vegas have been a nitemare for me. The Focus Enhance DTEs also do MOV file which work fine but then I am stuck in FCP, which I am not wild about.
