M2t files from Focus Enhancement DTE drive not work with Vegas?
I have Vegas 9b running on 64 bit Vista _ 4gb ram_Q6600 2.4ghz quad processor.
I have JVC GY Hd110U cameras capturing on Focus Enhancement DTE Hdrives – 720 30P
The DTEs record on FAT 32 with Open GOP (which I dont understand) but think it means that some frame data is on one clip that belongs to another clip. theoretically they will seamlessly hook back together in the software. BUT NOT SO – sony does not seem to handle the Open GOP. Therefore I have a few frame Video and Audio glitch between every clip.
Any suggestions on how be able to continue to use my DTEs AND Vegas? -

Focus E says you need a program that reads open GOP M2t files – I have adobe PrePro Final Cut Studio3 Sony Vegas 9 and none of them reassemble the M2t files with out the frame and audio drop. I didnt know if there is a software that will reassemble Open GOP files that I can then import into vegas . I had preferred Vegas because I have been using it since V4, but M2t files and Vegas have been a nitemare for me. The Focus Enhance DTEs also do MOV file which work fine but then I am stuck in FCP, which I am not wild about.
