    PA.

  • Avid -> Settings -> Deck Configuration -> Add channel -> Port -> Auto configure

  • I think the application must access the drivers via WDM [mostly DAW applications] and not your typical DirectShow.

[walter biscardi] “Actually, from all of Bob’s posts I think he’s a sales rep or owner of a VAR, but he’ll let us know for sure.”

Googling is not hard to do Walter. In fact, if you ever in NYC, LA, or Orlando area ask around the facility industry. More than likely you will find somebody who knows Bob Zelin.

Another COW competing forum has now taken ownership of that plugin. It is free but you have to get it from COW competition.

Also, better 24p/23.976 workflow and AE preview via Mojo!

    Duck should still work.
Avid has an installer for the new codec for the PC [no codec installer for the DNA codecs for the Mac yet]

Adrenaline 1.6 and higher is much more stable than previous versions. It is a bit slower in response compared to Meridien systems. But renders much faster than any previous Avids. For online I still prefer Symp 4.x and higher.
Although Adrenaline with HD board has a pretty good HD workflow.

You want you Adrenaline on a HP xw8200 with 2 GB of RAM.

You are better of getting an XPress Pro with Mojo and a mixer.

[weevie833] “try connecting it to your mac via 800 cable, and the IO via the 400 connection. They are two different channels as far as the mac is concerned.”

Will not work because they use the same PCI bus.

I was refering to your comment about 24p recording.

[gary adcock] “be true for Standard Def and HD cameras that use tape — they cannot directly record to tape at 24p (23.98) so all of them need to add additional frames”
