What OS, Avid, your drives are formatted how [NTFS/HFS/FAT32/etc], etc.?

Jerry as I understand it Kona 2 only actually offloads the resizing of DVC Pro HD [being not full raster]. I think this goes for HDV also.

Use the drives provided by Avid. It is in the installed folder:
C:\Program Files\Avid\Utilities -
There is no limit to QT export. I often make movies sizing up from 20-80GB.
Just make sure your system drive and target export drive is NTFS/HFS+.

Probably the Avid startup service [Admin Tools -> Services] is causing it. Or another startup in conjunction with Avid startup.
If you are not using Avid drives you can disble that service. If you do have Avid drives, I would try disabling startup functions like anit virus and such.

The graphics card will only affect 3D FX and Marquee in regards to Avid functions/features. The rest are host CPUJ/RAM dependent.
The higher the model number the faster for 3D. 1300 or 1400 is fine.
