    HI, Next q,

I am exporting a Quick Time Movie and it stops me and says I have exceeded the 2GB Limit… Is there a way to change the limit at all?

    Thanks,
    Dale…

There is no limit to QT export. I often make movies sizing up from 20-80GB.

Just make sure your system drive and target export drive is NTFS/HFS+.

Are you sure you’re not somehow accidentally creating an .avi file? There is a 2GB limit on them.

    good luck,
    Carl

Are you on OS 9 by any chance? Try exporting to a firewire drive.

What OS, Avid, your drives are formatted how [NTFS/HFS/FAT32/etc], etc.?

The 2gb limit is an OS issue, not an Avid issue.

HI sorry for the delayed reply, my drives are NTFS… excuse my ignorance, still learning but what does that all have to do with it?

    Dale…
