Anyone know if you can capture media on an Express Pro station with the Mojo 1:1 to an external drive, then walk the drive over to the Symphony and use the media? I have had great success using firewire 800 BigDiskExtreme at 1:1 on Symphony. The only limitation I’ve noticed is it only supports one stream (render the dissolves and layers).

We are thinking of buying and Express Pro/Mojo setup. But we are wondering if anyone has ever tried to share the media.

Any comments from the cow pen?

Yes. The 1:1 OMF media is compatible with Symphony.

With the new Symphony Nitris coming out this year, you’ll have complete “Total Conform” of your XPro projects. In other words, whatever you create in XPro will transfer exactly to Symphony as it was created in XPro (minus 3rd-party effects not installed on the Symphony).

    That’s pretty sweet.

    You can do that now.
