    Hello, Gianni,
After looking at the specification of your system, I am somewhat confused about your GFX configuration. As a rule of thumb Intel Iris Pro Graphics is not a sufficiently powerful GPU to work in DaVinci Resolve.
nVidia GeForce GT 750M might work OK.
Would you be able go to DaVinci Resolve Preferences I/O – GPU tab and see which of the GPUs is detected when you experiencing this issues?
Are you able to play other media?

Please update to version 10.1.5 if you wish to stay on version 10 of DaVinci Resolve. If on version 11, please use 11.1.3 or later.

There are might be multiple reasons for what you are seeing. 1- the way footage was actually converted. What was used to do so? How does it show up in Resolve? What frame rate? Is it goes same frame rate as expected? If you bring in the original doesn’t behave the same way? 2- Do you have field processing turned on in the project settings? It shouldn’t be on for progressive footage. 3- check clip attributes (right click on a clip in the media pool) does the framer are field dominance setting make sense?

  • The thing to do is to right-click on the clip in the media page and chose to change clip attributes. There, within the video section select how you would want to have your clip be interpreted. If you are in a 23.976 timeline you want to chose the same frame rate in this dialogue. This will play your video without skipping any frames effectively extending the length of your clip origina lframerate/timeline framerate times.
    200/23.976≈8 times slower

What you describe is possible in the MEDIA tab, not in the EDIT tab.

    Glen,
After audio is synced in the MEDIA (not merely linked in the EDIT), the name of the original audio clip – as it was before the sync – will NOT be visible in the EDIT, on the timeline.

When you synch audio in the edit page either by hand or automatically the name of the audio clip is not updated in the Ui. The video clip retains exactly the same name of it audio portion without reflecting the change, but the audio is indeed replaced.

  • Wave agent.

  • Make sure that in your fcpx project, the timeline you are exporting to DaVinci Resolve is contained not only within an Event, but within a Project as well.

The latest Manila for the DaVinci Resolve 11 b2 has a very detailed description of how render cache works.
Regarding the final renders — in the delivery page there is an option to use rendered images for final render.
