  • Hi, Tom,

You will find most of the preferences related to how projects are saved in

Resolve ▸ Preferences… ▸ User ▸ Project Save and Load

Most likely you have Live Save enabled.

Alternately you can load a project as read only—one of the context menu options available in the Project Manager

  • Click on the three dot pop up menu in the upper right corner of the Media Storage pane and select an option Show Individual Frames. Navigate to the location of the media using the Media Storage browser. You will need to reimport the media.

  • Hello, Drew,
What happens if you adjust the zoom of the node tree using the slider? I see you have zoomed all the way out.
Can you see the node labels at a different zoom level?

  • Hello, Ricky,
DaVinci Resolve is limited to 3840×2160 output raster. If you are attempting to Render at source resolution you will get a clip at source resolution but with the image scaled down to maximum of 3840×2160 dimension.
You will need to use DaVinci Resolve Studio to overcome this limitation

June 12, 2017 at 6:11 pm in reply to: Import clips with timecode

    Hello, Alex,
to a degree you may achieve a partial result (having a timeline with two tracks, with clips positioned on the timelines based on their timecode)
You may use Multicam creation, using TC as a synch.
You might want to check in the metadata that the camera # is unique per camera (you can edit this in the metadata editor for multiple clips)
You can then set options of the Multicam clip creation to use timecode. Make sure that framerate matches too. You can then create layers based on the camera name.
After that you can open Multicam clip in a timeline, to check the alignment, you can use the Multicam clip as intended, or copy its content and paste it into a regular timeline.
