  • Hello.
AMD gpus have no CUDA support. CUDA drivers should not be installed.

Hello, Joseph, I am failing to see how to set up this app to export with Video pass through, ie without re-encoding it. Looks lie a very capable player though

    Hello, Enrique,
Resolve is a image centered application, so it is not possible to export a clip without reencoding it.

There are very few formats allowing you to preserve original resolution above 4k/uhd. In general Resolve should be the last step in the image processing pipeline with the output at the deliverable resolution, though it depends on the specific work flow.
You might explore using cineform codes. Keep in mind that once debayered, r3d and other images originated as raw, will occupy at least 3 times the storage.

On Windows you may chose dbxhd or cineform. For all intents and purposes dnxhd is an equivalent of protest quality wise for the same bit rates. High quality of dnxhd 4:4:4 is available.

  • Please open the Display Settings in the System Preferences. Chose scaled as the option and click on the icon “More Space” all the way to the right.
After that, on the next restart of resolve you will be asked to change the interface to fit the new resolution.

    Hope this helps.

  • Hello Andrew. Use a right click in a media tab after selecting multiple clips, to which the adjustment must apply. Then click on a “clip attributes” in a context menu. There you should be able to select an appropriate pixel aspect ratio in a video portion of the clip attributes panel.

When you go in resolve preferences to the system profile. What do you see there as a processing GPU?

You may try doing what has been suggested in an earlier response and stabilize using zoom analysys only in one of the nodes but try playing with the “smooth” setting and maybe in a separate node only pan and tilt setting with different strength of stabilization and smooth applied.
