If you are having problems, then that would be the first thing to try. LP mode is not reliable.

Do yourself a HUGE favor, Ernie….

Go out and get a two-button mouse. It’ll open up a whole world of right-click goodness that you’ll be amazed that you ever lived without.

CTRL-click works, but it’s way more cumbersome than right-clicking.

Without knowing to what the projector is going to be connected to access your file, we can’t answer your question.

Is is going to play back from a computer or from a DDR? If computer, which computer and what program will they be using? If DDR, what type of DDR and what is it’s native format?

You might have better luck asking the people to whom you are delivering what codec and format they want and work backwards from there.

Unfortunately, LP mode is something that oftentimes can only be played back reliably by the machine that recorded it. Even if the machine can play it back, it is prone to higher rates of dropouts because of the recording method used in the camera. It’s the nature of the beast. It’s not considered “professional”, so most pro decks and NLEs are not made to play nicely with LP.

You might be better off playing the LP tapes from the same camera that recorded them to SP and capturing from the SP dubs.

Did you try just deleting them with the Delete button in the Audio/Video Settings in the Capture Presets or Sequence Presets tabs (depending on which kind of Easy Setup you created)?

Hey, I wouldn’t call you an idiot. For an otter, you have a very strong command of human language!

Have you upgraded anything lately, OS or QuickTime?

This might be worth a look. These are the basics:

Then there’s this if you’ve done any upgrading. It seems to help with similar complaints:

It sounds like your project file has become corrupt. You might do better creating a new project rather than trying to salvage a corrupt one.

Try starting a new project and copying your current sequence into it, then save it as a new project with a new name.

If that seems to work okay, then you can try to copy your essential clips and bins and other Browser items to rebuild the project file in a trim and fit form.
