I bounce between these apps every day without any issues. I can export my native DV from FCP as QT or as reference, I can export or render out of A6.5 or AE7.0 using Animation or DV. No problems.
The issues you are describing could be caused by lots of things but I doubt it’s QT7. However, uncompressed isn’t necessarily the same thing as lossless.
There’s something wrong at your end, for sure, but your symptoms aren’t easily diagnosed. More details such as: Did it ever work? What did you change recently?

Some folks over at apple.com have had to delete their Studio ID files before the license would take.

trashed it, launched one of the Pro apps, entered my license data, the file got rewritten and everything works fine now.

It’s usually a mismatched setting between your clips and your sequence or you’ve been capturing to the wrong drive. There are ,many other possible causes like your sequence is too long or you’ve finally maxed out your RAM.
We see threads on the topic at least monthly so a quick search of the forum will give you several helpful threads.
A quick search got me 19 posts in three or four different threads.

Sorry Chris, can’t help, just wanted to tell you I had all of Maclaughlin’s vinyl including the Santana stuff. Saw the tow of ’em in Portland OR in 1974.

It guarantees nothing. I have installed all OS10 releases with simple upgrades, I've never doe a scorched earth erase and install. I have replaced or updated all of my versions of FCP with simple upgrades, I've never done an erase and reinstall. Allow me to add:
Dub the tapes to fresh VHS stock while you’re at it. VHS is going to be around for a long time. Optical formats come and go, DV may or may not be viable in a few years, who knows?
COSTCO has an interesting device from Sony for $200. It is a DVD burner dedicated to converting any conventional S or composite directly to DVD. RCA jacks and S connector.
They also have a Lite-On DVD recorder for about $180 that has a VHS deck that will dub directly to DVD.
