I just did a multicam shoot with these cameras. We did it the old fashion way. We programmed the time code to be close on all the cameras (within 1 second). Then we used an old fashion film camera slate that all the cameras could see. You can even clap it multiple time depending on how many cameras you have. The editor was able to program the offset in FCP once they were synced up in post. We shot 14 TB worth of data like this and no issues.

Been using for several months with no issues. It is hot swappable as well. I would suggest trouble shooting it with the folks at Duel. You should get all the updated drivers. It’s possible you could have something on your system that is causing a conflict.

I upgraded mine successfully on a non-intel G5 Powermac. I wish I could recall the details of what I downloaded but it did work. You should check all the downloads available. You will need to flip the switch under the little rubber cover on the left side I believe of the P2 store.

    Good luck

Much appreciated gentlemen. Now I can unload my P2 store and put the money towards some more gear.

I have two Gitzo 1325V tripods with heads and they work quite well. They are about $1800 each. Good luck finding anything good for much cheaper.

I’ve been from Utah to Arizona, Texas, Oklahoma, Washington and Alaska with two cameras and a raid in three pelican 1520 cases as carry-on luggage and have had no problems in any of the airports or planes.

I agree with Barry. Just look at it. It’s great! It is a compressed HD but HD none the less. I compare it to shooting still in RAW vs. JPEG mode. They look the same when you shoot them but the RAW does give you some more options for corrections later. The HVX-200 shoots similar to JPEG files in that the ompression is done in camera. It really does look amazing. I’m currently shooting a 12 episode series and the clients keep comenting on how good the footage looks. They are shocked that something that good is coming out of a camera that small.

I’ve done business with Broadway both over the phone and in there NY store. I got what I paid for because I was careful. They are like the others who do the grey market and bait and switch routines. BE CAREFUL. If you want the best guarantee I suggest B&H Photo and Adorama. They are reputable and honest. They are also very competetive with regards to price.
