Yes, you will also have to deselect the “Lock aspect ratio” Icon and deselect the “Size about center” icon so you can drag one side without the other moving on you. Both of these icons are on the left side of the event Pan/Crop window. Hope this helps, Danny Hays

For DVD videos, the audio must be .AC3 format in order for the surround sound to work. You can also render to .WMV, click custom and drop down template and choose a 5.1 surround that matches your resolution.
I’ve found the audio seperation isn’t as good as .ac3 but it’s a way to get surround sound without burning a DVD..

Due to the major recall of MB’s with Sandy Bridge chips, I would hold off on that. I have the Asus P6X58D-Premium MB with the Shuttle and it works great.

The output format and resolution and framerate from the camera has to match the capture settings for it to work. If the video isn’t showing up in the Media Express capture window then there’s a setting mismatch.

Do you have a different type of file close to the end of the timeline, like a still image? It sounds like it’s having a problem with a file about 93% into the timeline.

I could at the time not find any info on Presonus’s site reguarding the Firepod (disconniued) had to upgrade the firmware to the FP10 firmware, and Windows 7. I had to Google “Firepod and Windows 7” and found out about the legacey drivers. It now works with sonar, Vegas Premier, After effects ect.

If Vegas doesn’t see it as a capture device,(usualy firewire) then no.

Did you recently switch to Windows 7? I had to switch my firewire drivers to the old Legacy drivers in order for my Presonus Firepod to work with Win 7.
