I’m trying to capture in Final Cut Pro via a Intensity Pro (latest firmware & drivers) to a flavor of XDCAM via the HDMI port. Whenever I try, I just get a green screen captured with audio. Tried both XDCAM EX and XDCAM HD with the same results. I can capture to prores without issue.

    FCP Capture Settings:
Using Intensity HD 1080 for video input
Blackmagic HD 1080i 59.94 using NTSC
    29.97 frames per second
XDCAM HD 1080i60 (35Mb/s VBR) at Best Quality
    24 bits per pixel
    1920 by 1080
Using Intensity Audio for audio input
    Input: Blackmagic Audio
    Format: 48.000 kHz 24-bit 2-chan
    Speaker: off
    Volume 100, Gain: 150

I did notice that FCP is labeling the frame size of the captured XDCAM videos as 960×540

The output format and resolution and framerate from the camera has to match the capture settings for it to work. If the video isn’t showing up in the Media Express capture window then there’s a setting mismatch.

I can preview the video in FCP, even see it in the capture window, but when I go to play back the file, it is green.

Can preview the live preview fine in Media Express.

I have the issue with a Decklink Extreme 3D, using SDI input. AJA Kona Works fine with this setup.
