live viewing with camera thru Vegas
I want to run my camera through vegas simply to view what is live on camera. (not to record but simply view) I can use my Z1U using firewire but my smaller camera only has an AV/R, HDMI, and USB outlet on it.
Is there any way I can hook this camera up so the preview window in Vegas will see what the camera sees?I’m trying to figure a workaround to use “go to Meeting” as their service only lets viewers see what is on the monitor and doesn’t have a webcam capability.

If Vegas doesn’t see it as a capture device,(usualy firewire) then no.

You could get an HDMI to Analog converter, then use the Z1 as a pass-through to Firewire into Vegas.
