    hey guys
    im a newbie here
i have pretty much got vegas figured out as i cut bits and peices
my projects have started to get bigger and along my journey i have recently bumped into a little edit problem

2 scenes whose only difference is from the midle going to the left and right and need combining into one scene

let me try and explain better

you shoot the same scene twice without changing camera angle/position and the person is to appear to talk to themselves by changing appearance and position such that they are in different positions (track 1 = left) (track 2= right)

how can i combine the left half of track 1 with the right half of track 2 to make an independent track from both halves

thank you very much for reading and i look forward to your response

    peeeps

have a good day or night depending on where you are

Use two tracks. Then use masking to chop off the left or right half or the top track. Pan/Crop can easily do that.

Yes, you will also have to deselect the “Lock aspect ratio” Icon and deselect the “Size about center” icon so you can drag one side without the other moving on you. Both of these icons are on the left side of the event Pan/Crop window. Hope this helps, Danny Hays
