Yes, Click on the event icon on each event to add a different chromakey plugin to each event that can be set differently. May I suggest since you said your using DV footage, add a chromablur plugin to each event chain just befor the chromakey plugin and set the blur to medium. This helps reduce the jaggy edges you commonly get when keying DV footage with color space 4.1.1. Hope this helps, Danny Hays

Must be something with the export of psp. Have you compairef the resolution and file size of the before and after of the png files? Is there a better export setting you van try?

Yes Vegas does great with multichannel audio. It supports dirext x and VST pluggins. It’s limitation is it has no midi tracks or virtual instruments, but if all your tracks are audio waves, Vegas will work fine. Vegas was audio only for the first two versions by the way. Danny Hays

There are many programs that need quicktime to run correctly including Pro Tools 8. Have you downloaded the latest version and try the mp4 again?

Can you import an AVI? If so have you edited AVCHD files from the same camera on that same computer?

I really wish Vegas keyer had spill supression, but you can help by putting as much room between your forground subject and the screen, backlight with a magenta gell on it, as it’s the opposite color of green.

I edit m2t all the time without problems. you can convert to an intermediate format in Vegas called Cineform, which is CPU frendly. JVC HDV cameras are 1280 by 720p I believe so try that Cineform preset. Try downloading a freeware called VLC and play the M2T files and see how smooth they play. If they play smooth, it’ll rule out the video card, which I thought made no difference on preview speed.

If you have access to Adobe Ultra, you can get a great key with DV 4.1.1 color space footage as it uses vector keying. Hope this helps, Danny Hays
