My sony vegas software does not seem to allow me to import any clips in the programme for editing. It also won’t let me drag any files from other folders.

I already know the file type is correct as the video clips arein AVCHD format and I have edited them many times before.

    Anyone know of possible problems?

Can you import an AVI? If so have you edited AVCHD files from the same camera on that same computer?

    Hey

I have managed to import clips now, I have no idea why it wouldn’t work. However I keep getting an error message which causes vegas to close, this only seems to happen with mp4 and I think it has something to do with quicktime?

There are many programs that need quicktime to run correctly including Pro Tools 8. Have you downloaded the latest version and try the mp4 again?
