I use Megaupload, it’s free and allows up to 1 gig file size upload. You can then send anyone a link to download them. Any larger, I break it up ur deliver on Thumb drive. Danny

I use OnLocation to capture HDV and it can capture as .m2t or.mpg. I’ve never had red m2t files but have had red mpgs. I still stick with Vegas 8 as the preview good auto is way better that V9 Danny

There was a program called Ultra, made by Serious magic, bought by Adobe and released with the upper end bundles of CS3. That program did exactly what you see in that video, with some virtual sets that had zooming and panning without all the time consuming keyframing to keep the forground and background matching with their position. Unfortunatly Adobe discontinued it with CS4. It was one of the best keyers I’ve ever used. There is a good chromakey pluggin by “The Foundry”

It works with many NLE’s but not Vegas but is included with some later releases of After Effects. It works very well too. If you already have a good keyer, you can buy those virtual sets from Virtualsetworks and with some keyframing practice, get those results. Full body shots without shadows won’t look very convincing.
Google “Videocopilot” and “Andrew Kramer” and look for his shadows video tutorial. Very good tutorial. Danny -
You can EQ most of the hiss out Creat a notch filter and sweep it until the hiss goes away, and there’s many noise reduction pluggins out there. Hope this helps

I believe FCP likes .mov files and Vegas can render as that format. MP4 files are highly compressed and are not ususlly a prefered format to edit with. Danny

If you still have the JPG, you should be able to re-link it to it’s new location in Vegas.

My Matrox card is setup as all three monitors are my desktop. My taskbar goes acroos all three. If you double click in the video, it still doesn’t play all the way across? My resolution is not 1920 – 480. I’ll have to check when I get tomorrow morning.
