    Hi guys,
Im trying to rendering an MP4 in vegas even though there is no option. Is there any way I can do it? If not my next option is to render it in a differnt file type and then bring it into school and render it on final cut express. The other problem though is Iv had a hard time importing to final cut express, what kind of file types doe it acept? So basically im not sure what to do since I like to edit on Vegas and might have to just learn how to edit on FCE and import it for the first time on there.
    Thanks

In your render as “Save as type” dropdown menu you should be able to see both Main Concept AVC and Sony AVC. Either of these will give you an MP4 file. I prefer Main Concept. You must have video in your project to see these I think. If you don’t have these options you may need to load DVD studio Pro.

I believe FCP likes .mov files and Vegas can render as that format. MP4 files are highly compressed and are not ususlly a prefered format to edit with. Danny
