If your going to use DVD Arcitect, do all your editing with the original video and render once as type,Main concept mpeg-2, and template,DVD Arcitect ntsc video stream into an empty folder, then render again as Dolby Digital.ac3 Pro into the same folder with the same name as the mpeg but with the ext. .ac3. Then burn with DVD Architect. Danny

You can also add a reverb pluggin and set to sound like the size room you shot it in.

Are you sure you just don’t have one side of the audio wave file view covered up with the track below it? Try opening the video in GSpot, a free utility and it will tell you alot about the file, including if it’s mono or stereo. Hope this helps, Danny

Always start with the original clip and render as what you wish. Just try to avoid rendering something you’ve already rendered before. Anytime you render, the quality takes a hit. I render my HD videos to WMVHD as the quality is good and the file is relativly small. Hope this helps, Danny

Never had a Vista machine but had Vegas 9 running on Windows 7 32 bit and it ran great, preview refresh was much faster than XP on the same machine. Danny

I’ve had Vegas 9a running great on Windows 7 32 bit. The video preview refresh rate was much faster than on the same machine with XP. I had this laptop, 3.4 dual core, 2 gig ram set for dual boot, XP and Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit. Vegas 9a ran better on Windows 7. Hope this helps, Danny

I’ve heard the same thing John said, but I also heard YouTube will re-encode anything you send in and to send in the best quality video you have, even avi as long as it’s within the youtube limits of 10 minutes long, and 1 gig in file size. I’ve had good results with 1280 x 720 WMV files also. Here’s a sample of one.

I believe Vegas 8 has render templates for Blue Ray disks. It may be an .m2t file with a seperate .ac3 file for audio. Danny
