    Sorry Steven I just was looking more for confirmation as opposed to highlighting a problem. This my first widescreen project and was worried about avoiding playback issues. (plus a big replicator charge if I screw up)

    If you go to dv.com Trish and Chris Meyer have an awesome tutorial in the motion graphics area about exactly that.

    As far as I know this product is now under the Roxio banner so that is the best place to look.

    WOW…..You give me a great many ideas to consider and I really appreciate the time you spent putting that together. I am printing your reply up so I can consider it off-line.

    Once again thanks very much;

    I will try the CBR Mode Thanks. I use 5.5 based on my experience with the
    National Film Board who use that as their standard.

    Thanks again…….Dan

  • I know what it’s like to get through something then not want to think about it. I just finished a huge project with hundreds of versions.(Trivia Game) SHUDDER!!!! Never again…….unless, of course, I need the money. (Which, of course, I will)

    Strangely enough the only tool that made it bearable for me was After Effects. It seemed to handle dropping layers in and out much easier than any NLE I have access to.

    Just my 2 cents.
