    Thanks Tim;

    I rated it 5 Cows but wasn’t presented with the other 2 options.
    Is there some way of grouping the truly brilliant posts in 1 spot so that they aren’t lost? Simply adding this to the search engine doesn’t work here.

    I’m not sure that this would work for every forum because of changing technology but in business and marketing the principles are what is truly important. They never go out of date.

    If you needed some help to set something up for the benefit of everyone please let me know. If there is something already in place then please forgive me.

    Bob I really believe this post should be placed at the top of the Business forum and be required reading before you are allowed in.

    Thanks

    I agree in your perception of the “forced” part of this equation but thought I would mention it as a possibilty. I think that the more important idea is to differentiate from the standard search engine is ease of use offered at the most appropriate time.

    David and Ron what about this.

    Whenever I make a post to ask a question the 3 headings that come up are, of course, Name, E-Mail Address and Subject. Do you think it would be possible to add a “Search” button below them with a default search length of 3 months and default parameter of the present forum?
    This search to be based on what is in the “Subject” line.

    Then, allow them to use their back button to continue to create the post if they don’t find the answer there. (Hey you might even be able to set it up that no post is created unless the search button HAS been used) I agree that everyone should use the present search engine as is before asking a question but we all know that this is not going to happen.

    Just a thought;

    It’s threads like this that make me miss the “Discrete Edit*rs” forum 🙂

    Tim;

    We can take this one step further and look at the telephone as the great destroyer of creative inertia. Giving people your e-mail address as their only means of contacting you doesn’t work so I haven’t come up with a solution for this problem either.

    As you have already figured out you don’t do it in encore. You open Nero and go to “burn image to disc” then click on the image you created, choose how many copies you want to make and keep feeding your burner.

    If you must do it in Encore then open your project, go to “create disc” (same menu as create image)and follow the instructions after you have placed a blank disc in your burner.

    Slower and more prone to errors but it can be done.

    Good Luck;

    Sergio this is the only type of situation where I would suggest to someone that they simply create an AVI……then import into a new Encore project……and let Encore use the automatic setting to encode properly. Remember to set the the video to loop back to the beginning when finished and it should come up clean when you run a check disk. There’ll be no menu.Just set it to “Create Image”, start the process, then go to bed. When you get up there should be an image you can burn to disk.

    You said you tried something like this in a different post but did not explain why this didn’t solve your problem.

    Good Luck.
