Hi,
I just begun from scratch, without presets, and I found the PMotion Inheritance which solved the problem.
Thank you -
Make the spline dynamical and let it fall on the bottle with a collider tag?

Not sure what your problem is, your scene looks fine. Maybe you are in Point mode (instead of Object mode) and you see your mesh in rest, non animated, position (detached from the rig)?

Thank you, nice tip, I didn’t know Retarget Tag, but it looks like you need the very same hierarchical structure to make it work:
let’s say I have a “tentacle” joint chain (nested) and I want a group (list) of spline cross sections in the same global positions of joints to put in a Loft Nurbs and generate the tentacle mesh, can I use the Retarget tag?
I ended up cloning the cross sections on the spline generated by the joint chain (which is the best solution because spline has intermediate points) but, for future use, I wanted to know if it is possible with Hierarchy nodes (they confuses me a bit)Corrado

May 17, 2016 at 3:19 pm in reply to: any idea on what kind of materials used here?looks like a very basic illumination, without GI, AO; I’d use just one light from above and a HDRI image in a Sky object for reflections in the red material (cause I see “something” reflected in the red dot, but you could just put a rectangular plane with a white luminance material to mimic a fixture in the ceiling)

Not sure of what you mean with “link it to whichever tracked result you have that makes it stays there” but I’ll give it a try. It’s strange for me that I need a workaround to do what seems to be the most common use of Tracking Tool: track an object PSR with no useful tracking features in its center; it’s not what Offset is supposed to do?

I don’t know about Free Form Pro, but with Puppet tool you need any image with Alpha channel, cause you need to distort the shape of the feather and not the background. Then you can twist it (not sure of the exact meaning of “twist” in english, maybe “bend” is more correct) but in a bi-dimensional way only.

With the image of a feather you can use the Puppet Tool, setting some Pin Point and move them (manually or with expressions) to deform the feather. But of course the feather will always be flat, 2D, facing the same direction.

I’m tracking the contact point between tire and asphalt and the rear light, and they are working good, but my problem is this: I want to track the top and bottom end of an elongated object BUT get the position, rotation and scale data in the middle of that object. I add another picture.
Thanks for your help.Corrado
