You’d be better off exporting a ref file current settings from ur HD sequence and dropping that into Compressor – make a 8 bit SD 16X9 file.

Well, first off, you should never use your boot drive to capture media – ur just asking for trouble.
Drag the capture scratch folder to the fw drive. Delete the files off the boot drive. Reset scratch.
Re-link media in project.Get another FW drive and back up movie files to it by dragging over the capture scratch folder nightly.

Don’t get a subwoofer. You should have a pair of good speaker for accurate monitoring.

You do not EVER use your OS drive for media – this is rule#1
Put your media on one of the other drives. (Strip em and u’ll have faster thruput) and reconnect media – should play fine then.

300 dpi is print quality. Don’t need to be any higher then 72 dpi for tv and web and screen.

Double click ur lower 3rd and then click on the motion tab
