    Hey All,

I have a Panasonic HVX200AP that I am trying to connect to my Powerbook G4 Laptop to conduct web stream. I am using the 1394 connection of a 4 pin to 9 pin cable. I used a 6 pin but that didn’t work either. My camera is set to PC mode 1394 Host. The website hosting my webinar is Vue Live software Broadcaster will not recognize my camera. I have started with both camera and computer shut down. Connected my cable. Turned my computer on then camera and then visited the website. Am I doing something wrong? Do I have to change my recording settings even if I am not going to be recording?

Any help at all is greatly appreciated

    Thanks
    Chris

PC mode is for offloading cards. You need to be in Camera, for live or VTR, for streaming something all ready recorded.

Your software then needs to be about to receive a live feed. Your camera settings will need to match the required video settings for the software. So if it only takes 720×480 29.97i then your camera needs to be on that.

Watch ur auto power off power save settings too if you’re not in record mode.

Your camera also can’t be in a 720pN mode.
